GOODBYE TO MY GREATEST MAN EVER

Well, nothing lasts forever so does every humani will end up die. We don’t know how, we don’t know when. I just lost my dad. He is really such the greatest dad ever. He loves us with his own strange way (as long as I remember he never said 'i love you') but we know he has tried his best and I’m sure he remembered good in everyone’s heart. I won’t be (okay, I’ll try to be not) protracted in grief because it’s useless. You may see and think I keep calm and strong but actually I AM trying to keep calm and strong. All I can do is try to be the best kid so he, my mom and everyone will be proud of me (still thinking ‘how’). Lot of thanks to Allah SWT, You had given us him between us. And thanks to you too guys who has given your best support for me and my family. It really means everything for us who left. We love you, dad. Rest in peace :’)

TRICK OR TREAT

NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

It was late one fall in Halloweenland,
and the air had quite a chill.
Against the moon a skeleton sat,
alone upon a hill.
He was tall and thin with a bat bow tie;
Jack Skellington was his name.
He was tired and bored in Halloweenland

“I’m sick of the scaring, the terror, the fright.
I’m tired of being something that goes bump in the night.
I’m bored with leering my horrible glances,
And my feet hurt from dancing those skeleton dances.
I don’t like graveyards, and I need something new.
There must be more to life than just yelling,
‘Boo!’”

Then out from a grave, with a curl and a twist,
Came a whimpering, whining, spectral mist.
It was a little ghost dog, with a faint little bark,
And a jack-o’-lantern nose that glowed in the dark.
It was Jack’s dog, Zero, the best friend he had,
But Jack hardly noticed, which made Zero sad.

All that night and through the next day,
Jack wandered and walked.
He was filled with dismay.
Then deep in the forest, just before night,
Jack came upon an amazing sight.
Not twenty feet from the spot where he stood
Were three massive doorways carved in wood.
He stood before them, completely in awe,
His gaze transfixed by one special door.
Entranced and excited, with a slight sense of worry,
Jack opened the door to a white, windy flurry.

Jack didn’t know it, but he’d fallen down
In the middle of a place called Christmas Town!
Immersed in the light, Jack was no longer haunted.
He had finally found the feeling he wanted.
And so that his friends wouldn’t think him a liar,
He took the present filled stockings that hung by the fire.
He took candy and toys that were stacked on the shelves
And a picture of Santa with all of his elves.
He took lights and ornaments and the star from the tree,
And from the Christmas Town sign, he took the big letter C.

He picked up everything that sparkled or glowed.
He even picked up a handful of snow.
He grabbed it all, and without being seen,
He took it all back to Halloween.

Back in Halloween a group of Jack’s peers
Stared in amazement at his Christmas souvenires.
For this wondrous vision none were prepared.
Most were excited, though a few were quite scared!

For the next few days, while it lightninged and thundered,
Jack sat alone and obsessively wondered.
“Why is it they get to spread laughter and cheer
While we stalk the graveyards, spreading panic and fear?
Well, I could be Santa, and I could spread cheer!
Why does he get to do it year after year?”
Outraged by injustice, Jack thought and he thought.
Then he got an idea. “Yes…yes…why not!”

In Christmas Town, Santa was making some toys
When through the din he heard a soft noise.
He answered the door, and to his surprise,
He saw weird little creatures in strange disguise.
They were altogether ugly and rather petite.
As they opened their sacks, they yelled, “Trick or treat!”
Then a confused Santa was shoved into a sack
And taken to Halloween to see mastermind Jack.

In Halloween everyone gathered once more,
For they’d never seen a Santa before
And as they cautiously gazed at this strange old man,
Jack related to Santa his masterful plan:
“My dear Mr. Claus, I think it’s a crime
That you’ve got to be Santa all of the time!
But now I will give presents, and I will spread cheer.
We’re changing places I’m Santa this year.
It is I who will say Merry Christmas to you!
So you may lie in my coffin, creak doors, and yell, ‘Boo!’
And please, Mr. Claus, don’t think ill of my plan.
For I’ll do the best Santa job that I can.”

And though Jack and his friends thought they’d do a good job,
Their idea of Christmas was still quite macabre.
They were packed up and ready on Christmas Eve day
When Jack hitched his reindeer to his sleek coffin sleigh,
But on Christmas Eve as they were about to begin,
A Halloween fog slowly rolled in.
Jack said, “We can’t leave; this fog’s just too thick.
There will be no Christmas, and I can’t be St. Nick.”
Then a small glowing light pierced through the fog.
What could it be?…It was Zero, Jack’s dog!

Jack said, “Zero, with your nose so bright,
Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”

And to be so needed was Zero’s great dream,
So he joyously flew to the head of the team.
And as the skeletal sleigh started its ghostly flight,
Jack cackled, “Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”

‘Twas the nightmare before Christmas, and all though the house,
Not a creature was peaceful, not even a mouse.
The stockings all hung by the chimney with care,
When opened that morning would cause quite a scare!
The children, all nestled so snug in their beds,
Would have nightmares of monsters and skeleton heads.
The moon that hung over the new-fallen snow
Cast an eerie pall over the city below,
And Santa Claus’s laughter now sounded like groans,
And the jingling bells like chattering bones.
And what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But a coffin sleigh with skeleton deer.
And a skeletal driver so ugly and sick
They knew in a moment, this can’t be St. Nick!
From house to house, with a true sense of joy,
Jack happily issued each present and toy.
From rooftop to rooftop he jumped and he skipped,
Leaving presents that seemed to be straight from a crypt!
Unaware that the world was in panic and fear,
Jack merrily spread his own brand of cheer.

He visited the house of Susie and Dave;
They got a Gumby and Pokey from the grave.
Then on to the home of little Jane Neeman;
She got a baby doll possessed by a demon.
A monstrous train with tentacle tracks,
A ghoulish puppet wielding an ax,
A man eating plant disguised as a wreath,
And a vampire teddy bear with very sharp teeth.

There were screams of terror, but Jack didn’t hear it,
He was much too involved with his own Christmas spirit!
Jack finally looked down from his dark, starry frights
And saw the commotion, the noise, and the light.
“Why, they’re celebrating, it looks like such fun!
They’re thanking me for the good job that I’ve done.”
But what he thought were fireworks meant as goodwill
Were bullets and missiles intended to kill.
Then amidst the barrage of artillery fire,
Jack urged Zero to go higher and higher.
And away they all flew like the storm of a thistle,
Until they were hit by a well guided missile.
And as they fell on the cemetery, way out of sight,
Was heard, “Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good
night.”

Jack pulled himself up on a large stone cross,
And from there he reviewed his incredible loss.
“I thought I could be Santa, I had such belief”
Jack was confused and filled with great grief.
Not knowing where to turn, he looked toward the sky,
Then he slumped on the grave and he started to cry.
And as Zero and Jack lay crumpled on the ground,
They suddenly heard a familiar sound.

“My dear Jack,” said Santa, “I applaud your intent.
I know wreaking such havoc was not what you meant.
And so you are sad and feeling quite blue,
But taking over Christmas was the wrong thing to do.
I hope you realize Halloween’s the right place for you.
There’s a lot more, Jack, that I’d like to say,
But now I must hurry, for it’s almost Christmas day.”
Then he jumped in his sleigh, and with a wink of an eye,
He said, “Merry Christmas,” and he bid them good bye.

Back home, Jack was sad, but then, like a dream,
Santa brought Christmas to the land of Halloween.

HEY FELLAS! hows ur weekend uh? last week I had midterm freakin test. some of my scores unsatisfied me. okay it's most of em. i really need more time to study but first i need motivations! idk why i'm still hanging here in this sticking world wide web.

i just wanna tell you i had a grat weekend though my parents left me and my sister alone at home. i went to LA Lights Indiefest 2009 with dival. there were lots of cool bands and there was lenka! yeah, i love her. she's cute and have a nice voice and good songs. two bands before her, there was raygun. first, i didn't ever know them but i must admit that the vocalist, whose name is ray gun too, has an adoring face!

MES VACANCES

Salut! Je voudrais vous raconter mes vacances. I went to Lombok avec ma famille. J'arrive on September 23 et went back home on September 27. For short, I'll just write the activities I did and put photos in this post.

Day 1
+ had flight to Lombok
+ checked in to Sheraton Hotel at Senggigi
+ had chicken flamingo for dinner at Asmara Restaurant
+ stayed at hotel
+ rested for tomorrows trip

WELCOME TO LOMBOK! :D

LATE LUNCH OR EARLY DINNER AT ASMARA

Day 2
+ went to traditional ceramic store
+ then to traditional cloth store
+ had lunch at Kuta Beach, Lombok
+ went to Tanjung Aan and took a lot of pictures
+ visited Desa Sade, Sasak's trade village
+ had dinner at Square

- I do not have underwater camera and that's a big shame :(
*) Guys, you hv to check the underwater panorama by yourself. The colorful coral and fishes; c'est magnifique.
- crossed back to Lombok
+ bought seaweed dodols special for Alicia and for fleet mateys
+ had dinner at Square
(I checked my camera and there were already about 500 photos! Ckck it was just day 3)

Day 4
+ crossed to three other islands: Gili Sudak, Gili Gedis and Gili Nanggu

+ had a creepy lunch on Gili Sudak
+ snorkeling again at Gili Gedis and Gili Nanggu
+ crossed back to Lombok
+ bought shirts for my boyfriends (the lover & the non-lovers ones)
+ had a very pleasant dinner: lomboks food
*) should try! ayam bakar madu et kangkung blecing :9

*) we didn't go anywhere bcs there was annual Lebaran Ketupat in Lombok and the road and beaches were crowded with people.

I DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THIS PLACE

WELCOME ME BACK JKT. SMELL YA LATER LOMBOK.

Overall, I love this trip bcs I've got the 'mudik' feeling. You know, Indonesia have this 'mudik' tradition which is going back to your homevillage when Iedl Fitr is coming. Me, I'm from Jakarta so I usually go nowhere bcs this is my homevillage. I don't go 'mudik' like most of my friends do. So, had a vacation to Lombok make me have the 'mudik' feeling bcs Lombok is pretty and much more peace than Bali. C'est tout. Still have undone to-do list: paper, house drawing and tryout inten *sigh*. Au revoir! Ah ja, merci daddy :)

Well, I just realized that today is Tuesday and tomorrow I'll go to Lombok. I'm excited and can't wait for it but the packing things is umm.. I'm too lazy to pack my things. My friend told me that Lombok is a very nice place to visit. The beach is freakin awesome and I believe that. My d40x lens has already been fixed. One thing left is: I have no underwater camera! Oh please I'm going to the beach without underwater camera?? What a shame, right? HELP! 1. I won't be able to do the paper! 2. And finish the 1st inten tryout. *sigh*
I hv a problem with packing thingy. List list list. I have to make one.

I'm expecting for zombies here in Jakarta but not there in Lombok ;p

I miss him. I haven't seen him since this holiday started and will not see him until this holiday's over :( He told me he won't forget me (at least not this soon) though we'll be rarely keep contacting each other. But still, IMISSHIM! :( :( :(

and she finds little diamonds stuck between the snowy cotton and wears them in her hair.

diamonds shining. lost and drowning, but forever sparkling.
and when he was driving her home in silence, her head, out through the window, was facing upwards towards the coral lipgloss-colored sky.

HEY! long time no post here. so sorry, this last year of senior high really takes my energy a lot. things happened and i wanna tell you what happened since last friday.

FRIDAY. morning friday jog as usual but no lesson for the rest. yes, indonesia is going to celebrate its independence day on august 17. so there were a lot of games such as tarik tambang, bakiak race, makan kerupuk, nangkep belut and so many more. i participated in bakiak race and got 2nd place :) here are some photos

and guess what's another exciting news? me and my lovely danzatrice will have saman performance again! I MISS THIS MOMENT SOOO MUCH!! we will perform in front of 250 people from 51 countries. actually we haven't allowed do saman things again since we're on third grade but mr. parno, the vice headmaster, wants us to do the perform. thankyou so so so much, sir, you believe us ;p
SATURDAY. there were two of my friends had their 17th birthday party on the same day, vero and rizka. thanks god both's parties are close each other, at kemang. rizka's was on grand kemang and vero's was on the rock cafe. on saturday morning, i had saman rehearsal first at school. it was so tiring, my thigh stiffed. maybe it's because it's been a long time since i had my last rehearsal. but it's okay, remembering it maybe the very last time my friends and i do saman. after had saman rehearsal and a little chat with my girls, i went to gading alone. i bought black dress for me (ON ZARA SALE ;) ), gifts for rizka and got my hair washed and blowed on johnny andrean. i prepared myself at home then hisyam picked me up at 7. we went to vero's first. it was very umm.. rock (?). lotsa bands. after vero's band, the stribes performed, i went to rizka's. i arrived a sec before she blowed the candle. there were far more people in rizka's. wish they both happy :)
SUNDAY. i woke up at 7. my mom woke me up. actually i still wanted to sleep bcs i arrived at home at 12 and i was so tired. my family and i went to my grandparents' graves every before ramadhan month. it was vvveeerrryyy hot out there! though it's still 9, the sun shines extra bright, bffff. you should try. not so long been there, we had lunch at garuda (PADANG FOOD, YAY!) and went home. now i'm about to go to see police academy at ancol. bye! LOTSALOVE :*

Yay holiday just at home means i have enough time for boys stalking time. Hehe no, my heart will always be for my boy-ya-ya but my eyes for cute boys. I see lots of movies and I found AARON JOHNSON in the movie Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Omg omg omg he's just superb, I've told you here in my post. And the one who got the golden voice (FOR MY EARS) GABE BONDOC. Oh man oh man I almost see his videos on youtube everyday :D I've written about him also here in my post. If you know other guys that can make your heart beats faster (INDONESIAN: LEBAY) TELL ME!!

BUT suddenly Hisyam called my name and I woke up. He wanted to go to Lampung and Palembang and I told him to wake me up before I go. And now I'm scared, will she search me in my dream tonight? I haven't pay ._.

I watched Coraline recently and I remember I ever saw and saved the posters and here they are now on my blog.
It's about a girl named Coraline -yep, it's Coraline not Caroline- (Dakota Fanning dubbed) and she really wanted a perfect life then she trapped into a perfect-but-mean-button life through a little door in her new house. Why I said it's a perfect-but-mean-button life? It bcs it's perfect at first but if she want to stay she must change her eyes into buttons.
I really recommend you to watch it. The stop-motion is just awesome for me. Happy watching! :)

okay i went outside my house yesterday, at last. nadia treated me, sabs, mega and yoga at cheesecake factory KEBAYORAN. why i capslock the "kebayoran"? because at firsst i thought it was in tebet. i've already arrived at cf tebet and send message to yoga, told him i've arrived but i didn't see anyone. then yoga sent me a voice note that i was in the wrong cf. ..okay. luckily my driver hasn't been far away from cf tebet so i called him to turn back and picked me up. i live in jakarta where you can find traffic jam in most of its street so i arrived at the right cf kebayoran at about 2 o'clock. nad, sabs, meg and yog have finished their meal and they took lots of pictures without me! my fault i know. but i was sooooo glad i can meet my old mates! we talking about jhs things that made me hard to chew my spaghetti bolognaisse because it made me can't stop laughing then we took lots of pictures before we went back to sabs' home. really i'm so happy after a very long time no see. thanks anyway for nadia who treat us ;) oya, photos will come soon after nad upload em on fb.

at sabrina's house i played with her newborn kittens. i bottle-fed them, they're so cute! unfortunately, i didn't bring my camera and my bb was low battery so i can't capture them. no longer i fed the kittens (i forget their names), i was picked up by my friend. i'd like to watch any movie. first we went to jaktet but there's nothing just transformer 2. i didn't want to watch it then we went to gi. first he wanted to watch garuda di dadaku but i've watched it an i was totally bored. finally we agreed to watch star trek. haha i know it's kinda late but it's better late than never right? i thought it's superb but i'm not really into the movie like people. it doesn't mean the movie is bad. i like it but not just into the movie.

let me first say HEY! yea i know it's quiet a long time i haven't post anything here. there're many things happened, i just don't know how to spill it out. okay, first maybe i'd like to talk about my friday. yes baby, i passed my 11th grade and now i'm officially a senior! so no time for doing nothing without any learning. i am the 24th in my class and 80-something in paralel. i know it's not good enough. it gotta be hardwork if i want get fsrd itb after graduate this high school, right? i have to be serious with this but i'll do it after this holiday, sir. yaa this is holiday, dude! i still have no plan going somewhere. i think i'm not going anywhere, but i wish i am. BUT (again) i do have lotta DVD in my hand. so what if i'm not going? haha i bought 20 movies and 1 korean drama. you know Boys Before Flowers.

everybody's talking about it and i have no idea what it is. so i'll watch it after my sister. i have watched beverly hills chihuahua, forrest gump and angus, thongs and perfect snogging. those are great movies especially forrest gump and angus, thongs and perfect snogging (ataps).

i'm still searching if forrest gump is a based-on-true-story movie or not because it's a very brilliant movie and tom hanks was very brilliant actor i admit. anyone knows? and i fall in love with aaron johnson in ataps!! he's such a very cool and young british boy i ever knew. omg i'm not lying, i was hard to breathe when he came out. he's superb!!

This is Oistein Kristiansen's book. There are actually another book but I only got this, draw wild animals. I wish I had DRAW ROBOTS!! After I had this book in my hand, I learn how to draw animals. -Yesterday-

I woke up at 9 and took a shower right away because there were presentation about cervix cancer by FKUI International at 10am. I went there with my mom and sisters. It's not as boring as I thought before. Now I know about that kind of cancer and how to prevent it. The coolest thing is there is injections for the vaccination and I asked my mom will I get those injections and (I guess) my mom said yes. I WILL GET THE INJECTIONS! Yeay, you know maybe I sound freak but I think injections are cool and again I-will-get-the-injections. If you read this, mom, I'd like to have the vaccination pleaaase : )
Then I went to arion because I was craving for hoka hoka bento's chocolatte pudding sooo much at that time. I got it was so damn crowded there in hokben, arion. I ordered Paket D and yes, choco pudding for sure. After I finished my lunch, my mom bought chicken katsu fot my little brother at home and surprisingly TEN CHOCOLATTE PUDDINGS! Oh baby it's super yum yum yum ; d
Skip when I was in Asyong's. There's no important things here. Just cancelled course ,so me, cae and asyong just playing around, watching this Touch My Body (Tuts My Barreh) / Karaoke Fail (English subtitles).
And at Saturday Night, I went to Monic's birthday dinner at Pisa Cafe, Menteng. Maybe I just put some pics here. There're so much camera, blitz everywhere in this table.

I dreamed about my moral tooth last night. You know what? It become loose and I tasted blood when I sleep but when I woke up it's only a dream.
What I'm going to do today is continue my english project. But once again my friends hadn't shown up until 12 at my home then Adam texted me he can't come. Oh c'mon make it done soon guys then we can go for the editing.

Setelah membaca blognya Muli, gw jadi tersadar kalo UKK (Ujian Kenaikan Kelas) TUH BENTAR LAGI YAA! Teramat sangat tidak siap, ho noooo!! Semester 2 ini gw merasa sangat kacau. Entah dimana otak gw tuh sekarang. Kayanya lagi dipinjem siapaa gtu terus blom dibalikin huhu. Lots of unfinished tasks, remedials and susulansz. Mana kelas gw jadi memanas lagi. Ya, ac-nya memburuk, lagi sakit panas. Gw jg jadi suka keluar2 kelas cari oksigen -__- Bikin tambah ga efektif kan belajarnya.

Hey! How's ur day? Today, I went to school as usual but I didn't join sport class because I had a terrible stomachache. You know girls' thingy. I always hate my every first day of monthly period. And there're 2 tests; tik and francais. I got 90 on TIK and 95 on francais speaking test (I know that's too amazing for me to do the francais ,p). Today is Bima's birthday. Happy birthday anyway, wish you all the best.
And after school, Muli, Adam and Alya did the take-a-long-time english project here in my house. Actually it's must be collected on next Friday. Do you realize what day is today? Ya, it's Wednesday guys! I don't know when it'll be finished. C'mon guys!!

last night, i had dinner with my girls at the edge, kemang icon.

Yea, I changed the template of my blog. The last one is boring huh? Nothing special in this new one. I still pick the same Minima but I change it a little. The color is still the same. Still gray and blue, and I add a little orange now for refreshing.

This week is a free from school week because the third graders have the national exam. I will have it too in the next year. I can't imagine I'm doing all that. I may go freak. Study hard at school, courses waiting at night, oh and it's just for one time national exam! Ah whatever. Just let it flow and do the best, right? Anyway good luck for the third graders.

Oh this is the Riveras. They are El Tigre, White Panthera and Puma Loco. In this free week I watch El Tigre in Nickelodeon everyday and I like it :D
